Ok so im sure this will change closer to the draft, but here is my mock draft from now! (please note by placing Bruins 29th and Hawks 30th doesnt mean i think Hawks win it, they have the better record hence worse pick)

As you might be able to notice, a few droppers and risers. this is expected. EVERY draft has risers and droppers. In this mock, my riser is Big Defenseman Sam Morin. Many scouts saying lots of teams love him and he could go higher than expected. I know Ottawa has a few young dmen but Cowen and Morin? My lord.
3 droppers here. C Frederick Gauthier, G Zach Fucale and C Alex Wennberg. Not much to say here, last year it was Forsberg, Grigorenko, Teravainen. Argument could be made for Maata and Faksa as well. So lots of droppers last year, thats what im taking off of. Just being realistic, folks. Fire away. Tell me what you think. But just please keep in mind in EVERY draft there are risers and droppers

Decent, Domi is too high though, and thats coming from a Knights fan. Fucale didnt drop at all, he is expected to go 15 or later. As for wennberg, i have a feeling he goes to the wings, just seems like a perfect match.

oops i originally had Fucale going to Calgary at 28, then i switched the pick haha. Wennberg i could see going to Detroit for sure.

"Drop" is kind of a vague term this year. Not a huge gap between players this year in the first round. Could be some surprises but there are lots of good players regardless.

The entire oilers nation will crack a beer and/or bottle of champagne if Monahan falls to us at 7. I hope ur right. Saves us giving up too much to trade up to 5.

haha thanks. Couts did the same in 2010, Lindholm has been ranked higher than Monahan virtually all year.

You have Calgary picking 3 of the most underrated prospects of the draft...good job, I can only pray that happens, however Wennberg is going to be off the board by 21 IMO

@ Ur Not Me: Dont see Poulin or Nilsson being a starter is this league. Good backups, but if anything a very mediocre, bottom 7 starter. Fucale projected as a solid starter. @oilersrule66: look at the location again. i was quoting someone.
