Though he's a Swedish citizen and never been involved in politics, sources suggest that Mats Sundin has been offered a spot on Barrak Obama's ticket as Vice Presidential candiate. Now we have 6 teams in North America and 1 political party pursuing the vaunted Swede. Sundin apparently has asked for a few days to think it over. Meanwhile, Republican John McCain is rumored to be giving strong consideration to courting Jamacan sprinting sensation Usain Bolt or Professional bowler Doug Kent.
(Sorry, no crazy rumors in 2 days and I guess I'm getting bored. Nothing new in the real world today either).

Sundin shocker!!! He...ate pizza for lunch, went to Ikea to get a new comfy chair and then went home to relax in it. More news in an hour when he goes to bed for the night. ;)
Good summary of the past three months :) With or without Mats, the Leafs, Rangers, and Canucks are not making the playoffs this year; with or without Mats, the Habs and the Flyers will. That's it. End of story. Who cares. Ciao and goodnight.
