Heroes:
DRURY- Captain Clutch adds 2 more GWG's to his already impressive resume 14 total GWG's in the post season.
BRIERE Line- Slow start follwed by solid game 4 & 5 performances.
AFINOGENOV- Anther slow starter... Turned disappointing series into a great ending with Series winning goal. Welcome back MAX NATION
Zeroes:
HECHT- 0 Goals, but an impressive 18 SOG in the series.
SPACEK- 0 points & only 5 SOG from SPACHO MAN. HE needs to step it up a notch from here on out. Sabres need him to be dynamic player he was for the 05-06 Oilers in the Playoffs. (14 points)
Suprizes:
HECHT- 18 SOG. Hard to believe the defensive presence on the Briere line led the team in SOG.
ZUBURUS- Pacing the Sabres with 5 helpers. Welcome back to the playoffs Z. He has been a force to be reckoned with.
VANEK- Even +/- through 5 games???? Where have you gone? ......... LOL Just kidding. Seriously, it seems this years redifined TV is still focused and in the zone. He along with his line has played very well in this series and finally started finding the back of the net. Watch out 2nd round opponent these gusy are catching fire @ the right time.
