Congradulations to Brad May on his first Stanley Cup Championship. nearly 14 years and 2 months ago Brad scored one of the biggest Stanley Cup Ot winning goals in history. Now his name will enter the history books as a Stanley Cup winner. It is nice to see him get his due.

With over 900 games played in the NHL (regular season & playoffs), Brad has helped his teams towards the games ultimate prize. It is nice to see May help Sabre fans erase another bad playoff memory (losing to Ottawa this year) and eliminating the Sens and taking home this years Cup.

I would also like to Congradulate the latest WNY'er TODD MARCHANT on getting his name on Lord Stanley's Cup. That makes three native WNY'ers names to be engraved in two years. He joins Eric Cole & Kevyn Adams as HOME TOWN HEROES.

Finally lets take time to congradulate Ryan Miller's kid brother Drew Miller as well.

I had a tear in my eye as Brad took the Cup - he's been one of the best team guys in the league for years, I'm sorry that Brad May and Matt Barnaby couldn't join him. And to Todd Marchant -- it's a long trip from Buffalo to being drafted by the Rangers, becoming a regular with Edmonton, signing with Columbus -- then being part of the Sergei Fedorov deal -- but I'm sure it's all worth it to him now! I was really happy for Brad May as well. He was one my favorite players during the Sabres "hardest working team in hockey" years. I heard Todd Marchant said on CBC that he was gong to bring the Cup back to Buffalo. Classy guys.
