Wow, let's just take a look at the kind of team the Blues will have this upcoming season. First of all, it will look so good to see Erik Johnson strap on the Bluenote and patrol the blueline for years to come, fan favorite Keith Tkachuk is back, Manny Legace provides stability in net, Lee Stempniak has broken out as a goal scorer, and now add in All-Star Paul Kariya to the St. Louis Bluees family.

Andy Murray must be licking his chops in excitement as to how his team is shaping up for the 2007-2008 season. Kariya will instantly give the Blues a dangerous power-play, add Tkachuk in front of the net, Stempniak's one-timers from the faceoff circles, and Doug Weight's playmaking abilities, not to mention big Erik Johnson at the point waiting to unload a slapper at any moment, and the Blues have and are still being put together to be a well-tuned gritty playoff machine that every St. Louis Blues fan has been waiting for.

I know I speak for many Blues fans when I say that I am totally in full support of what John Davidson is doing with this team.

Heads-Up: Blues Prospect Camp quickly approaching July 9-13 at St. Louis Mills, come and see the Blues new draft picks as well as some of the other bright young players that might someday play with the big team.
