For those of you who took the risk of adding Teemu Selanne to your hockey pools, you must be wondering, will he retire? Or will he come back for more with the Anahiem Ducks?
According to some websites, he has been encouraged to keep playing in the nhl from some old friends. I think Eklund mentioned that Philadelphia was interested in him.
Personally, i don't see why he would retire, he just came off a 48 goal scoring season, and scoring almost 100 points. He's got plenty of gas left in the tank.
Also, Anahiem is a very good place to play some hockey.

It will probably depend on what Scotty's decision may be. For all of you who drafted Teemu...God help us

I've been hearing through the grapevine around here that both Selanne and Neidermayer were not looking forward to the Ducks opening schedule, which is brutal. No one on the team wants to go to England, no matter what anyone says. I think Teemu wants to pull off something similar to what Scott wants to do (miss the first part of the season). If the Ducks allow that to happen, Selanne will come back in a heartbeat. If that doesn't happen, I could see him possibly playing with an east coast team or retiring.

That's where the "go out on top" saying comes in.

Teemu is playing to well to retire. He had his knees fixed during the lockout and has been great the 2 seasons after. He will end up on some contender.

If Nieds and Teemu come back, this guy in my fantasy league is going to be one happy camper. PLEASE RETIRE!

It's hard to imagine either Teemu or Scotty retiring the way they are playing. Teemu could go a couple more years, and Scott could probably play another 10 if he wanted!!
