My name is Anthony and I'm a Montreal Canadiens fan. As much as I can this year I am going to try live blogging the Habs games. I am quite new to blogging and will gladly accept any feedback. So here we go ...

The Leafs are being announced now, not much of of a cheer for Grabovski though. An injured Phil Kessel got a better one.

They just introduced a bunch of former members of Olympic/Canada Cup/72 Series teams: Paul Coffey, Mario Lemieux, Paul Henderson, Ron Ellis and a couple more ...

For the first time in 100 years the Habs are starting the season with no Captain but 3 "A's": Markov, Gill and Gionta

The Leafs are also starting the season with no Captain and 3 "A's": Kaberle, Komosarek & ?

Carey Price is in the pipes for the habs, Toskala for the Leafs. HERE WE GO!!!

17:08 - Toronto almost draws First Blood. They Hit the post and Price was quick enough to keep it out.
