Welcome back everyone!! Another beautiful night here in Ottawa!

The Habs are coming off a big win over Phoenix on Thursday and will face the Preds who have been on the rise of late. This should prove to be a good game!

Price will make the start for the Habs. Spacek will be a game time decision after suffering a deep bruise from getting kicked in the Phoenix game. ** Update** Spacek is in!

Rinne will get the start for the Preds.

I'd give that Period to the Preds for sure. They looked liked the fresher team and got rewarded for the Their efforts. Feel bad for Price, he should have had that one. Expect to the Habs Offense to ramp it up for the 2nd and for Carey to shut it down. Fearless Prediction: Either Kostitsyn or Latendresse will score in this game ...

I'll say that period was a tie, both teams had great chances but no one was able to find the back of the net. Look for the 3rd to be very intense. Habs will start the period on the powerplay. Let's see if they can cash ....

Carey Price gave an incredible performance tonight by stopping over 50 shots!! Some of the saves he made tonight were simply miraculous including his stop on the breakaway in the last 2 minutes of the game. If not for him this game would have been 10 - 0 easily!!

The Habs defence were no where to be found tonight. Even though Spacek was in the game, i never heard his name all that much. They looked liked they were sleeping at times. I can't wait for the return of O'Byrne. Let's hope he retained his pre-season form!

Brian Gionta was lost early due to a lower body injury and could you ever tell. The offence looked almost non-exisent for the Habs only mustering 20 shots, many very weak. Scott Gomez needs to learn to play with soneone else besides Gionta. He was no where to be found without Gionta to pass to. As for the rest ... well ... besides the 2nd line at times ... just a poor effort causing the 2nd shutout against the Habs in 3 games.
