Avs Still Can’t Solve The Overtime Period, Steal a Point in

The Avs remained winless both in overtime and in divisional play Saturday night when they lost a shootout to the St. Louis Blues. The Blues skated away with a 3-2 victory after holding a 2-0 lead early in the third period.
The Avs used their power play to tie the game before the third period even went to its first commercial break. They didn’t let up after that and continued to press until the final buzzer sounded. Unfortunately, they were unable to solve goaltender Brian Elliott for a third time.
