Avs fall short of a Comeback, lose to Flyers in Philadelphia

The Avalanche was unable to complete a third period comeback and dropped a 4-3 contest to the Flyers. They scored three times in the third period, all coming from the bottom two lines, but were unable to capitalize on the last minute push.
Colorado’s goals from Max Talbot, Alex Tanguay, and Zach Redmond all came at even strength. The Flyers however scored three times on the power play. Two of which came in an early five minute man advantage while Nathan MacKinnon was in the box.
