Islanders shut out the Avalanche in a one-sided game

The Avalanche suffered a 6-0 loss on Tuesday night by the very same team they dominated just 12 days ago. On Veterans Day and on their last trip to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Colorado was held win-less for the 13th time in 17 games.
Nick Leddy’s goal just 93 seconds into the game was the eventual game-winner while the goals from Anders Lee, Travis Hamonic, Nikolai Kulemin, Casey Cizikas, and Ryan Strome were nothing more than insurance markers.
