Pickard plays spectacular as Avs come back to win shootout

The game clock had 8:16 remaining on it when Paul Postma exited the penalty box. The Avs had just failed to score on its second consecutive power play opportunity and were down 3-1 with nothing going for them.
Colorado scored two late third period goals after the failed power play attempts en route to a shootout win over the Jets. Alex Tanguay explains the win as a spark for his team.
“My god the relief,” he said. “You saw everyone on the bench jump on the third goal. We’re desperate we need to win."
