Avs moving in the right direction after another big win

Semyon Varlamov was at it again for the Avs. It seems the Blackhawks aren’t the only team wondering how to solve the goalie. The Senators put 38 shots on the Russian Olympian tonight and scored just twice. The Avs countered with five of its own en route to a convincing 5-2 victory Thursday night at the Pepsi Center.
Varlamov has made a combined 90 saves in his last two games, good for a .978 sv %. And when asked about his dominance since the loss to Columbus, Varly simply responded, “well what do you want me to say?”
