The Avalanche welcomed the Predators to the Pepsi Center in the second of a home-and-home series tonight and walked away with a 3-0 shutout win behind Varlamov’s fourth shutout of the season.
Colorado received goals from Max Talbot and Jarome Iginla before Gabe Landeskog sealed this one with an empty-netter at 18:49 of the third period. It was the first victory over the Predators this season and the thirteenth win in front of the home crowd for the Avs.
