I wanted to let everyone know that I'm taking a break from moderating the forums here at HockeyBuzz for a while. (No no... please.... hold your applause until the end. Really.... be seated....) Having a wife, three kids, a house, and an ever-busier job leaves less and less time to do the things I love with the people I love. So... time to start scaling things back a bit.

I wanted to thank Eklund, CaptEO and Degroat for the opportunity to be the Director of Officiating and for their support and advice to make the forums a better place to talk hockey with great people, as well as those of you who expressed your thanks in the chat room and via PM.

I especially want to thank the other Moderators -- Banger, THF, TKC, Flufflet, Jimmer, B Bruins, Goalie220 and jprobber -- who are among the funniest, wittiest and all-around best people I've ever had a chance to work with.

Super-Special thanks go to "iScoop" Cooper for his generosity with his time, wisdom, insight, guidance and friendship. I'm quite honored to be able to call Scoop a pal of mine.

HockeyBuzz is a great place visited by great people, and I look forward to seeing you all in the Chat room from time to time.

Blusie!! Sorry to hear you won't be moderatin' cause your moderatin'. Great job at a time when a good whack-a-moler was critical to this site's success! Don't ever underestimate how important your efforts were in making this site a place about hockey, and not an angry fan yelling contest. See ya in the Chat Room!
