GAME 1 PREVIEW

Posted 2:48 PM ET | Comments 1
Oh man, hockey in May....second only to hockey in June. Here it is, the Eastern Conference Finals. A showdown for all duos. This will be a gun slinging, blood bath, as these two teams meet for the 22nd team tonite in the past year and a half.
Home ice advangate goes with the Sabres, and let me tell you the fans are ready. So will both teams as the winner goes on for the right to play for the Lord Stanley's Cup.
The Sabres will surely be playing off high emotions as the crowd will be rockin inside and out. They are on a mission, a mission felt incomplete since last years Conference Finals. An early lead will be nice, and pivotable to being victorious. I think a quick goal can shellshock Emery and the fans will get all over him. That may open the floodgates.
Lindy will be rolling the Fearsome Foursome but look for him to shorten the bench if needed to. I think they can out perform Ottawa's front 3.
Once again, I think the key will be to skate, skate, skate, liek a high tuned Ferrari.
This will create opportunites on the PP. The Sabres need to stay out of the box, and cannot let Alfi, Spezza, Heatley get on the scoreboard.

Pre game festivities start very soon, and im sure a lot of booze will be consumed.
