The home stand of the Blue Jackets continues with another loss, and this time it was to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The final score of the contest was a 4-0 shutout.

Tampa Bay got their goals in the final 40 minutes, and two by the captain. Steve Stamkos' first goal came 5:25 into the second period, and it was his 30th of the season; Nikita Kucherov (player to watch) had an assist. 8:45 in the third period, Vladislav Namestnikov scored his 12th goal of the season; Tyler Johnson (player to watch) had the assist. At 10:54, Steven Stamkos scored his second of the game (shorthanded)and 31st of the season; Ondrej Palat (player to watch) had an assist. At 14:39, Palat scored a shorthanded goal for his 12th of the season; Stamkos had the assist. Ben Bishop was in net for Tampa Bay, and he stopped all 37 shots faced (100%).
It was a rough night for Columbus in every aspect of the game. Bobrovsky allowed 4 goals on 37 shots against (89.2 SV%); defensemen was -3 (Ryan Murray, my player to watch); and players had 10 penalty minutes on the night (Rene Borque). However, there were players with 5 shots on goal (Boone Jenner, Nick Foligno, and Ryan Murray).
