From a Winter Classic to a Spring Disaster!!!

The highlights and low lights of the Bruins season happened against the same opponent. On January 1st we were delighted to one helluvah game with Marco Sturm winning it in overtime at Fenway Park. Here in May it was the Flyers hitting a home run a "grand slam" of victories and a new all time low in Bruins playoff history!!!
I'm sorry, I bleed black n gold, but this one has left me wondering why I even bother to continue watching and rooting for this team?
It's bad enough to blow a 3-0 series lead, but you have to blow a 3-0 lead in the game seven as well? I give Peter Laviollete credit. Unlike his counterpart on the bench, he knows when to call a timeout. If you could read his lips he said "all we need is one goal". He was right, they went out and got it shortly thereafter and it turned the game around.
I just can't believe the lack of response on the Bruins part. The game that turned the series around (number 4), the Flyers blew leads of 3-1 and 4-3 and still won the game in overtime. What did the Bruins do to counter punch? They were sloppy in front of their own net, cute with the puck and undisciplined late in the game!!!
You deserve to go home, you deserve to hear the chants twenty ten like Red Sox players had to endure 1918 for what seemed to be an eternity.
This could have been an incredible final two rounds. To face the bitter historical rival Canadiens for the right to play for Lord Stanley and then possibly have the Blackhawks waiting for you in the finals would've been tremendous.
Instead I'm left with another bitter taste in my mouth and wondering who will save this pathetic franchise? Tyler Seguin or Taylor Hall?
I'm hoping for Hall personally, even though I think Seguin will end up like a Ron Francis Mike Richards type of player. And clearly, unlike anyone on the Bruins roster...those aforementioned men knew how to get it done at playoff time!!!

I had a rhyme of sorts. Well not really, a poem I guess? For lack of a better word! Another 7th seed takes it in a 7th game all because you had 7 players on the ice...This is not 7th Heaven!!!
I am not a fan of either team but it was clear to me that the Flyers just wanted it more than the Bruins after the 1st period and their skill players eventually delivered the goals. Peter Laviolette did one helluva coaching job throughout the series. Not knocking Julien, but Lav's coaching was special.
Very true....they did want it more and it showed. Peter did a tremendous job coaching and if he takes the Flyers to the final and wins, that will be two cups for a guy that was groomed in the Boston organization but apparently not good enough to coach them!!!Instead we're left with a guy who's only game 7 victory as a coach was against us. Kind of fitting isn't?Thanks for your comments...this game still stings and talking through it helps from calling the suicide hotline! LOL
