"When will the Bruins return to the Glory Days?"

These Savard rumors have really perplexed me. I can't understand it. There's a good chance that next season Boston will not find the money to re-sign Patrice Bergeron. This will give Seguin one season to learn the ropes. Savard is cap friendly now for the next seven years and if he returns to form, he's still nearly a point per game player!

I don't understand why drafting Seguin spells the departure of Savard? It just doesn't make sense to me. People have indicated that the move of Vladimir Sobotka would squelch the Savard rumors, but I feel this was more a move due to the acquisition of Greg Campbell and the drafting of Seguin, not to mention Vlads being due a raise (he is/was and RFA) more-so than the difficulty of moving Savard.

I'm not sure why Peter Chiarelli has backed himself into a corner with the Thomas and Savard contracts? Granted one doesn't have a crystal ball at his disposal, but in this day and age you do need a strong game plan for the future. These two players contracts seem very silly if they weren't in your long term game plan!!!

Help me... anyone out there? The Thomas rumors make sense...the Savard one just doesn't!!!
