Now that the draft is less than a week away, it’s time to start looking at the needs of the Buffalo Sabres.

2011-2012 was a disappointing season for the Buffalo Sabres. To say that the pieces were there for the Sabres, is an understatement. We can try to find excuses for why Buffalo didn’t deliver, but in the end, Buffalo was worse than in the season before, moving away from Terry Pegula’s goal of a Stanley Cup in Buffalo. This upcoming season, is do or die time for the tenure of Darcy Regier and Lindy Ruff. Now, I’ll be the first to admit that after this past season, both aren’t on my favorite coaches/GM’s list, I stand by this next statement, if Buffalo doesn’t at least get out of the 1st round of the playoffs in the 2012-2013 season, it will be time for regime change in Buffalo.

As per the kassian trade, if you look at his stats besides the game he played against buffalo kassian was a non factor in Vancouver. It took Cody a little while to get used to the new team but Played well and I'm excited to see what he does with a full season in buffalo

I think more do or die for Lindy! Darcy has definately brought in good players, seems Lindy has not used them well.
