Avs look to move on from disappointing road trip

There are plenty of words that could describe the Avs’ recent five-game road trip. The simplest way to put it is ‘not good enough.’
Colorado went 1-2-2 in the five-game swing away from home with both OT losses coming in the shootout where they had won five straight coming in.
“Looking back at the results its not what we wanted obviously,” Gabriel Landeskog told reporters. “Shootouts they’re pretty much a coin toss either way and we feel like we’ve got enough talent to win those shootouts. Now we’ve came up on the short end of both of them and if we win at least one of those or even both of them all of a sudden it changes the whole road trip.”
