Well, this game was more physical than the last, but the Pens still came out with the win. Crosby, Hossa, Talbot and Staal had the Pens' goals. The disallowed goal looked to be over the line after I saw the replay, when I got home, but the word from Toronto was that it was unclear if the entire puck crossed the line. You canot tell for sure, but it had to have been. It turns out that the goal was not needed to beat the Flyers. Tyler Kennedy suprised everyone in Mellon Arena by dropping the gloves and going a few rounds with Upshall. The next game will be a tough one. It will be hard to cocme out with a win in Philly. We saw what the crowd does for us in this rivalry and not it is the Flyers turn...

Yeah the Pens have played very well. I am impressed at the commitment to defense that all the players are showing during the playoffs. Here is hoping that the Flyers get a few goals and even this series up. I want to see game 6 and game 7 of this series when these two great young teams elevate their games even more!

easily the worst game Pitts has played this playoffs. Can't have games like this if/when they play Det/Dal. I'm happy they won but I hope the rest of the team besides Kennedy and Crosby decide to show up next game. Also, the goal reviews are pretty ridiculous. I understand they have to see conclusive evidence to overturn the ruling on the ice. Yes you could not see white paint between the puck and the goal line but it was 100% obvious there was if Birons glove wasnt obstructing the view of the cameras. We are intelligent human beings, not robots that need these cut and dry decisions. If the people in the war room cannot use some sort of intelligence to make rulings then replace them with robots and save on the costs.
