Calgary Flames: Just who are these flames? Last year it looked as though the only issues were goaltending and blueline depth. Those issues looked to be shored only to have consistency plague them. No wonder Gulutzan went on a tirade. They need others to step up namely Bennett.

Edmonton Oilers: Simple, Chia Pet Chiarelli is at the helm. Still waiting for first domino, Chiarelli to be fired or Mcdavid traded for a 2nd rounder. When the oilers fired their GM, this could be a great and dynasty for a team.

Ottawa Senators: Retool and for Dorion to learn about proper trades. Not that his moves were terrible but he continues to overpay for everyone.

Montreal Canadiens: One answer fire Bergevin and hire any analytics GM. Hey Montreal, Toronto has three up and coming GMs, Trade for Dubas and promote Muller as coach.

Toronto Maple Leafs: Someone needs to Lamorello to trade for a dman, and have Babcock take a small seat back with ice time for some veterans but otherwise looking strong.

Vancouver Canucks: Just when you thought they were stuck in twilight zone, they hire Green as coach allow Boeser to be prominent and grow. Now all they need is a goaltender, forward depth and Dahlin.

Winnipeg Jets: Can Maurice coach a winner? Will he grow? When will their goaltenders provide quality? Still wondering about Maurice being a winner, but he did hire an ex referee to help with penalty taking and their goaltending has come. Is it all coming to fruition?
