Will the impossible start tonight?

Last night, the fans and everyone who believed the San Jose Sharks were different than years past, were once again disappointed.
Disappointed the Sharks lost, but more importantly, disappointed by the effort. Now because of last night's effort and a few bad breaks, the Sharks have their backs to the wall.
An 0-3 hole is the worst in sports, and it is nearly impossible to come back and win 4 games in a row.
Even the most believer or believers in this team like myself, watched the Sharks effort in the 3rd and said to themselves, this is it. This is the same exact team from last year and the season before.
Nothing has changed except a few faces in the crowd.
Even the Sharks come away with a win, and somehow managed to pull this series out, Ron Wilson needs to go.
I wrote a blog before the trade deadline, about changes I thought the Sharks needed to make, and a few points about the team if they want to win the Stanley Cup. The Sharks completed one of the points so far, but not all 3, and look at them now, 1 game away from elimination.

You can fault the players if you want, but to me everything starts with the coach. The preparations, the focus, and the attitudes.
Tonight, the Sharks must try to fight of elimination and return home to the Tank.
I am sure Greg Jamison, at the very least, is telling the team to win just one more game so we can make a few more bucks off of another home playoff game.
The Sharks face a daunting task at hand.
To win 4 in a row, nothing else. It cannot be in simpler terms. The Sharks need to go play hockey, and win. 4 in a row. 4 straight. Perhaps after losing 3 straight, the Sharks will win 4 straight.
Perhaps, however, is not a guarantee.
All we can do as fans is hope this team pulls of a wonderful upset. And even if they don't, we can all hope that someone new is behind the bench calling the shots next year.
When things really will be different.

There are 3 teams down 3-0. One of them has to come back, right?
The Sharks are a good enough team not to be swept, and they may even pull two rabbits out that hat...but 3-0 is just too deep of a hole to dig themselves out of. I've really enjoyed this series so far, but not just because I'm a Stars fan. The level of play has been far superior on both sides of the puck when compared to the first round. Good hockey (minus a few mental errors on both ends).
