Svatos for 2; Avs Prospects

So as you will probably already know and as per the Denver Post, Marek Svatos has resigned with Colorado for 2 years, with a contract worth $4.1M (1.75/2.35). It is great to see Svatty back in our colors after all the talk surrounding possible trading partners like Chicago and Florida. Though I wouldn't rule those deals out, per se, for the time being, I'm really happy to have him back!
Our cap hit is now $46.072M, according to nhlnumbers.com and our depth chart as follows (noting that Joe has not resigned yet):
LW - C - RW
Smyth - Stastny - Hejduk
Tucker - Wolski - Svatos
Ledin - Arnason - Jones
McLeod - Guite - Lappy
Willsie - Hensick - Stewart
Foote - Liles
Hannan - Leopold
Salei - Clark
Tjarnqvist - Cumiskey
Budaj - Raycroft - Weiman
We also have the possibility of a few other prospects making it into the NHL this season, if only just for a few games:
Nigel Williams - TJ Galiardi - Kevin Shattenkirk - Kelsey Tessier - Billy Sauer

I've said it before and I have to say it again, I'm excited about Colorado's prospects, even if most people aren't!! It may be a few tough years, especially if Joe retires, but I can't wait for the youth movement to begin!

I love your positivity and hope you are right about the quality of our prospects.
Shattenkirk is going back to school, so he won't be making the NHL club. However, Sauer, Williams and Galiardi I can all see making playing for this club at some point in the season. Please, please, PLEASE let Hensick kick Arnason off the roster.
