So the Rangers have Blair Betts and the Bruins have Byron Bitz, I wish they were teammates. You would have Bitz and Betts.

Mark Savard will be 32 this July, he looks like he's 22. Atlanta should be ashamed they let him walk away.

sorry buts I want no part of kari lehtonen...way too injury prone. he might be something playing for a better team but based on the way our year started I doubt he'd be much better than marty or nitty.

Nice Job as usual Butsy. I gotta agree though, I'm not a big Lehtonen fan. If only we could find one of those needle in the haystack guys like Steve Mason, Man, he came outta nowhere and is looking like a complete stud. I am however in love with Claude Giroux, Marc Savard and yes, even Wade Belak for laying the smackdown on Brash. Oh that was fun to watch.

Ha ha. Good stuff Butsy. I'd go with Jussi and make sure everyone pronounced it "Juicy". I'm sure next Saturday's coffee talk will have a mention of Mr. Avery in it. This guy might be the best agitator/player in NHL history. Dam him and his Rag Tag bunch.

I am not a Lehtonen fan either. Think about it, even great goalies on bad teams steal games at times. When did you see highlight of him stealing anything? Just because he was highly rated out of juniors does not make him great. Pat Falloon was highly ranked as well as Alexander Daigle. The team that drafted Lehtonen also traded Coburn for Zhitnik straight up!

Lehtonen has some darn good numbers for the Thrashers and he has stolen numerous game including Saturday night against Buffalo, it's the Thrashers so we just don;t see him play enough.

Atlanta should be ashamed they let Marc Savard go? You could easily put Calgary on that list. They had both him and Marty St.Louis and let them go because they were "too small".
