Happy Saturday Morning hooligans.

Funny how the hockey world works. 10 years ago everybody was a monster like Lindros now the little guys like Kane, Giroux and Gagner are popping up all over the place.

Very weird by Im not a big fan of Corona, just dont like putting lime in my beer I guess.

Now a lime in my rye and ginger, now your talking.

Since we are on the topic of booze, you know the old saying the early bird catches the worm. Im thinking the walking home at 5am from a night of drinking bird has a pretty good shot at the worm as well.

Rumour has it the Canucks offered Ryder the same 3 year $12 million offer, wow is potential goal scoring really that hard to find?

Do you remember when I said Brett Favre would be the starting QB of the Packers this year. I meant the Jets, sorry for the typo. It happens, I was alwasy bad in spelling.

FYI I spelled always wrong on purpose, I thought that would be funny.

This is the dog days of summer as far as hockey goes, man is it ever boring right now.

Sean Avery will be a huge bust in Dallas, They say everything is bigger in Dallas except Avery.

This Sundin thing is really dragging on too long, he really is a Swedish meatball.

Manny Ramirez is wearing #99 in LA, why do I bring this up? Because somebody else started to wear #99 in LA 20 years ago. Wayne Gretzky became a LA King 20 years ago.

You're right. Three straight conference semis, an MVP and 144 regular season wins sure have Sharks fans asking for Thornton's head. Come on dude....if you think San Jose has turned on Joe, you are way off base...

Hey Butsy, I didn't see you had a blog last week. It never showed up in myhockeybuzz, or at least not in mine. Anyway, thanks for your help with the TO tips a few weeks ago. We had a great time! What a great city! I can't wait to go back again.

Isn't it strange that while the size of the players are decreasing the size of the goalies is increasing. I read somewhere this week that there are only 3 goalies 5'11".Beer and fruit should never mix. That's what Mead is for.You're too old to be walking home at 5am. Just an observation.The world is full of potential goal scoring and everyone's overpaying for it. Thankfully we missed a season of hockey to make sure that didn't happen.It's so boring on the hockey front I read a blog about the NHL and hockey was only mentioned five times.Berine Mac should have taken his vitamin C but it seems callous to point that out.I find it funny that Jagr and Yashin are playing in Russia. Who would have thought that three years ago.Have you ever gone to the Canadiens thread and not saw them chatting about french fries with cheese and gravy? I had it last night to try and they must make it better, I'd rather have my fries with cheese OR gravy.I contributed to the comments section this week. Yeeeeaaaaaahhhh!

I certainly can understand typos. Besides, the letters in "Packers" and "Jets" are only inches apart, at least on my keyboard. Happens to me all the time. Also, the difference in letter count is only three. And I ask you B16 - what's a measly three in a world of trillions?

I think Avery will be really good in Dallas. Why do you think he won't? In my eyes hes the kind of guy you ALWAYS notice on the ice and NEVER want to play against. Just curious to know why you disagree

First off thanks for reading.I posted the link last week per usual but it was deleted later that morning. I think big brother is watching me.The Thornton comment was made after having a conversation with some Sharks fans. I happen to think Big joe is a hell of a player.Avery is a very good 3rd liner or 2nd liner tops. He is now making the big money and thinks he's the big dog. He is great friends with Hull(he actually lived with Hull when they played in Detroit)and he now thinks it's his team in Dallas. it isn't, it's Morrow's team and there will be problems between the two of them guaranteed.I think the mayorofangrytown needs there own blog, good stuff.

You're right. Spelling always wrong on purpose was funny...until you explained it. Give your readers a little credit. We get it. I rhymed those last two sentences on purpose because I thought it would sound poetic. I remember that dandylion song and head-popping activity. I think you can find it in a book along with other classics like London Bridges, Ring Around the Rosie, and Rock-ABye-Baby. Soothing songs of Murder and Mayhem for Small Children is the title I think. Never heard of a pie iron, but I happen to think ANYthing cooked around a campfire is is better than any other food prep method, and the flavor is enhanced by the company you are dining with. I don't drink beer or eat limes, but I do know that the lime flavored ice pops made by Edy's are completely unnecesary. Hmmm...I can have grape, strawberry, peach...oh look, lime! The Thornton trade still makes me stratch my head. Avery rules. He's offensive and idiotic but he has potential to draw viewers, which could mean more hockey on tv in US. Sad, but true. Maybe some day I won't have to buy the Center Ice package and call my cable company to ask why I don't have service on opening night while my wings get cold and and the first period winds down. Perhaps there will be a youtube video if him and Morrow lockerboxing. The number 99 should be retired in ALL sports. Love your blog, but sometimes I read them on Sunday while drinking tea. Is that still okay?

Thanks Dante, I give me readers all the credit in the world, they put up with my crap every week. I explained it as I thought that made it even funnier, guess not. Sunday with tea is cool, your a Ranger fan so I would expect you to be against the norm. Very interested in what Zherdev will do this year, he could BOOM or BUST, the dude has talent.
