UPDATE - The Tennessean is reporting that Dan Ellis will make the start in net tonight for the Preds. Ellis has played well against the Wings and recently was in net for the 3-1 Preds win at the Joe.
I will be mobile tonight at the Preds - Wings. I have not done that yet this year and I am looking forward to doing it. Follow along online or with your PDA from the game.
I’ll be sitting with one of my hockey buddies, Jason, tonight as the Preds are left no choice but to win. It only seems appropriate that the biggest game of the year comes against the most hated of Pred rivals...the Red Wings.
The Preds have played the Wings well this year going 3-2-1 against them with two games remaining. Word has it that the Preds will see Hasek in goal tonight for the Wings. Hasek has been battling back issues and I'm sure the Wings want to get him some work prior to the post-season.
Who do the Preds put in net tonight? Just when you think that Dan Ellis has won the number one job he performs like he did the other night against the Caps. Mason played well in relief but will Trotz put him back in net against the Wings...Ellis played well last week in Detroit getting the 3-1 win.
Well Pred fans it’s coming down to the wire...I am trying to remain positive but the fact is the Preds are not getting the points. Five home losses in a row has not helped our case. The Preds have made some pretty impressive runs this year...time for another one!
