Sorry Ek...No Game Seven

Eklund has his airline ticket to Nashville for the Sharks and Preds game seven but the problem is there won't be a game seven.

For the second year in a row the Preds were handed a 4 games to 1 series loss at the hands of the San Jose Sharks. Seriously...if I see anything teal right now I might just hurl!

This was a physical series (some might even say dirty...but let's not go there). This was a series where some Pred fans might say that we got the shaft from the Refs. This is a series where once again we were reminded, as an organization, how far we still have to go. We can talk a big game. We can land free agents in the off season. We can score big at the trade deadline but if we can't win in the post season none of it matters.

I still love these Preds. I will still be there on opening night next year. I just hope that come this time next year we are talking about our round two opponent and not about what could have been.

Sorry Ek...no game seven.
