This blog's story takes place last night at the Buffalo Bills pre-season game against the Atlanta Falcons. As I arrived at the stadium with my friend Shell, I see a few Vick jerseys walking into the area and I start to think to myself that this can get ugly after people get more beer into them.

As we get to our seats, we notice that there are 2 Vick wearing Jersey guys in our section of 243 which is called the "Rock pile" in our stadium. It becomes obvious to me that these guys were going to either leave early by being escorted out for their own safety, or they are going to be leaving in an ambulance. The crowd that wasn't even drunk yet was starting to heckle them for their instigating jerseys.

The first man, which was the closest to us in the next row wasn't saying anything and actually just watching the game. The other guy was an 18 year old hat wore to the side of his head punk kid. Which one do you think gets kicked out of this story?

First off everyone wasn't really saying anything at all and just drinking and watching the game. By the time the second quarter actually started it got really bad because people were tailgating and now the booze was actually kicking in pretty well. Needless to say the kid with his hat on sideways had 5 sheriffs and 10 security guards watching that he doesn't get killed for wearing his Vick jersey and talking crap at the same time.

3 people got kicked out due to getting in the kids face and getting angry to a point that there would of been punches thrown to him. The security guard told him exaclty this statement. "I can't watch you all night, so if you continue to instigate as you obviously did by wearing that jersey of all other jerseys out there, then you're going to be on your own, we don't have time to babysit you."

Halftime came... everyone is paying attention to just hanging out and talking.... Out comes the kid with his hat.... right near the concession stands a man runs up to him and just burys him with a huge punch to the face. A crowd of about 100 people came racing and watching while the kid got exactly what he deserved for instigating in more than one way. The 18 year old wouldn't stop riling people up and the crowd took it into their own hands since the security didn't want to. As the kid was getting carried away by the security, the whole crowd watching started screaming "A** HOLE!, A** HOLE!, A** HOLE!" to the kid as he was being taken away.

Now, that was done and over with... other Vicks were walking around and everyone was getting angry at it. A lot of th Vick jersey wearers were starting with others to get into a fight. I think those jerseys were the hidden sign they were holding saying "Please beat the crap out of me, I want to fight and get attention."

There's one person wearing that jersey that I would of actually jumped in and saved and that was this one guy, he was about 20-25 years old. He was walking by himself and on his phone but not starting with anyone at all. This crowd of half in the bag morons came out and the kid started walking behind him and waving to his friends to come on and help him... luckily his friends told him to stop it and get out of there... That would of been one heck of a brawl to save the guy from getting jumped for no reason. Of course I dont' condone anyone really being jumped anyways... but especially in this case I understood why they were wanting to but it wasn't right, and in fact one of the worst reasons to ever jump someone that didn't do anything to anyone.

On a final note and what made me sick to see was a father and son. The father being about 40's and his child being about 5 years old. His father dressed his son in his Vick jersey that he got his son... and he was wearing a number 1 Jersey which I forgot who's name was on the back.. I think that you shouldn't allow to have your child wear a jersey like that. I don't get people sometimes. I guess freedom of expresson and speech is something that everyone has even though I don't agree with what the freedom they are practicing represents.

I think that makes me a little better for not being a hypocrite about how the freedom of speech game works. After going through all of that last night that made me actually realize that. All in all.... if you're at a sports event at all, make sure you really don't hurt someone to the point of permanent damage if you do end up getting into a fight. People have died for stupid rivalry fights for no reason... over who's team is better and why the other one sucks.... I say keep it verbal and fun, not violent and dead.

Cheers!

Excellent blog, BM! I really enjoyed reading that.. unbelievable the the 18 year old kept instagating like that...guess he got what he deserved. I wouldn't of thought such a reaction would take place just because people are wearing Vick jerseys though.

Amazing how some people can feel invincible in the most dangerous of situations.

Yeah it was quite unbelievable that he kept going on and on about it and then he finally got what he had coming. Some people just like to be the topic of conversation the next day somewhere, and i'm the person that feeds into the next day hype hehe.

I love this blog for one reason, the fact that Philly fans get a bad rap for stuff that any fans will do. if you come into an away arena wearing the jersey of a visiting team you should expect the worst and the city doesnt matter as long as they have a strong fanbase. >>>alot of the time, philly fans get a bad wrap but the same thing will happen city to city, for some reason philly gets the finger pointed at them

I don't think this was about the opposing team Mikehock9, I think it was about Vick being a souless criminal that tortured and executed dogs. The man should not be a role model for anyone, nor allowed to be a part of Professional sports. This isn't about Buffalo fans, it's about all fans. Good Blog Matt - thanks for the inside scoop.

kelly----from what matt wrote, someone ran up and sucker punched a michael vick fan in the head just because he was wearing that jersey. i guess it takes a real man to sucker punch someone else.

He was sucker punched because he was heckling 100's of fans around his area. None of the other quiet Vick wearing guys got hurt unless they started something with the crowd.
