Anaheim had a terrific power play kill throughout the whole game. After the Ducks tallied back in the second period there was a leverage that would be slightly turned once more for the Jackets until Over Time. Special teams for the Ducks was what won them this game, hands down. These teams are wonderful rivals because when they play each other, they tend to have some very entertaining games.

Coach Hitchcock stated that he was impressed with the team and that they were playing at a high level and that they did a very good job even considering the loss.

Leclaire was a little distraught after the game but the mess up goal that Adam Foote accidentally deflected into his own net didn't help things much, nonetheless the rally back still happened.

The best hit in this game had to have been the hit from Jan Hejda sending Corey Perry into the Jackets bench. I think this is one of the best hits in the past few weeks that i've seen personally.

The Jackets close their home stretch wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche.

Later today I will recap the Avalanche game.

Actually the best hit would have to be Perros TKO'ing Shelley :) Seriously though... good game.

I agree it was a good game, they seem to be a good game most of the time they play each other.
