Sam Rosen Reports: Blake Says Avery Is Innocent

During tonight's broadcast of the Rangers-Devils game, Ranger's analyst Sam Rosen said that he spoke to Jason Blake. Blake told him that he did not hear Avery make those comments. Assuming that Sam Rosen isnt lying and Blake isnt deaf, this means the Avery did not make a "cancer" remark to Blake.
Now the blame shifts to whoever created this rumor. It is a terrible thing to say about anybody, regardless if he is the nicest guy or a jerk like Avery.
