"Talking New York Rangers Hockey, since 2007"
New York, NY • United States • 23 Years Old • Male
It is tough to write up much during a postseason run without becoming repetitive. So I am just going throw out my predictions for the final standings in the East. Let me know what you think.

1. Devils- Have been playing great all year and Brodeur has been solid.
2. Bruins- In a controlled free-fall right now and have all the signs of a "one-and-done" team.
3. Capitals- Have been struggling recently as goaltending continues to be the issue.
4. Penguins- Sid and Malkin continue to amaze as revived Pens are 8-0-2 in last 10.
5. Rangers- Finally found offensive touch and are now 6-2 in their last 8.
6. Flyers- Lack of consistency in net will drop them to the 6th spot, despite quick strike offense.
7. Hurricanes- A scoring machine since the re-addition of Erik Cole and Cam Ward has been steadier.
8. Canadians- Barely avoid further embarrassment, thanks to 7 home games and only 3 on the road.

9. Panthers- Too inconsistent to beat out the Habs, despite Vokoun's best efforts.
10. Leafs- Late run is too little, too late an d playoff drought continues in Toronto.
11. Sabres- Never really got going enough to be a threat.
12. Senators- Too far gone.
13. Thrashers- Too far gone.
14. Islanders- picked the wrong time to start winning, lose out on Tavares.
15. Lightning- Winners of last place in the league. Again.

Agree or disagree?

Isles are 5 points behind the Lightning so I would be shocked to see them pass them

I think the Pens and Flyers are a lock for the 4/5 seeds.

Flyers a lock? they have been outshot 140-84 their last 3 games.Briere has destroyed their chemistry.

they kept the lines intact until tonight so how has briere destroyed chemistry? seriously do you watch flyers games or do you just comment without thinking?

The 5th spot in the east will come down to the home and home at the end of the season. Good predictions, but I say the Habs are gonna lose their spot in the playoffs.

i doubt the leafs finish as high as tenth in fact i think the sens and sabres will finish ahead of them gerber is finally back to being gerber and i think the canadiens will finish outside the playoffs florida making it in and the iles will finish last

I don't mind those standings. I think we match up well against the Caps. It would suck how much extra rest the Pens would get after they sweeping the Rangers tho.

wish i could edit. scratch out they.

If the rangers keep up there scoring and the power play keeps putting pucks in the net. I don't know how you can say they will be swept. them and the pens are going to be tough teams to deal with if they continue to win and carry the momentum into the playoffs.

seven_curics,hey einstein, they had two waive two popular players in order to fit Briere back into the lineup and they have completely sucked since he came back

I'd like to see the panthers make the 8th seed over the habs-bens

I think Montreal is out, the last place they want to play is at home. If a guy misses a pass they are all over him booing......
