Norrena is scheduled to start in net against the Avalanche tomorrow Wednesday December 12th 2007. Norrena hasn't started a game in 11 straight days. Pascal Leclaire is taking a breather while letting Fredrik Norrena takes another crack and starting in net since facing the Flames and winning the game. Let's see if Norrena can pick up where he left off as he allows Leclaire, who has been on a long streak of games played and needs a small rest.

Thanks to a source from an e-mail I received back around noon eastern standard time today, MacKenzie and Lindstrom are sent back to the AHL after one game of playing with the Jackets due to Novotny coming back from a concussion injury as well as Malhotra coming back from a minor knee injury as well. It's going to be good to see Novotny back again. He needs to pick up the production and keep this team in competition mode well through January.

Zherdev is worth the price of admission all by himself and a treat to watch on the ice and the plays he makes. He's had a solid start to the season so far but needs to create more plays for himself and others to reach the potential he should be at right now. This is his third year in the NHL and the sophomore slump is over, it's time to get productive more consistently.

Nash is as solid as any Blue Jacket can ever ask to be. He's worked on a lot of things from the off season and it has shown in his production. He has the making of a great player as long as he can stay on pace the whole season. Look for Nash to be making a lot of setups against the Avalanche, there have been some interesting things seen in practice this past week that should reflect how he will look against the Avalanche.
