First of all, I'd like to thank the Vancouver Canucks for lending their tv announcers to CBC Sports for game 4! What an incredible gesture towards the people of Canada, and specifically Canucks' fans! I'm so thankful American fans, specifically Ducks fans, got to hear those announcers cheer for their team the entire game...and overtime hasn't even begun yet! I cannot wait for the puck to drop...I just hope Vancouver can pull it off. If they don't, the guys in the booth may start crying...they've already stressed that the Ducks "just got their EIGHTH POWER PLAY!"
Lastly, GET BIEKSA OFF THE ICE...HE IS NOT 100%...HE HAS NOT PLAYED WELL THE ENTIRE PLAYOFFS...HE IS KILLING YOUR TEAM! You can't deny it Canucks' faithful...don't criticize me...you know it is true...plead with your sources to make it happen!

You're a joke, I am not even gonna get started on this topic except to say that the American announcers are brutal. There was no cheering going on, in fact they were extremely critical of the Canucks play.

No sniffling here. The Canucks blew a chance. Have you ever heard Mike Emerick call a game? LOL! Brutal. Jim Hughson is internationally renouned for his play-by-play of several sports, besides if the US gave a freaking damn about it they would have they're own announcers here to call the game.
I really do feel for you Luongo07...its a shame you had to luck out against the Stars...only to face certain defeat by the Ducks' hands (or webbed feat, as it were)! You keep bagging on Turco...but what you should be bagging on is your sorry defense! Good night!
Jim Hughson calls games for the Canucks yes, however if you did your research you would find that he also calls games for CBC on a regular basis (Hockey Night In Canada). Harry Neale, he is a Leafs fan and rarley (until this years playoffs) does he call Canuck games. BTW where was Turco's name on the list of nominees today? I guess the ref's made a bad call there too eh?

Well, if you want to talk trash reub77, I can talk trash all day long...STARS rule, Vancuver SUCKS...And oh yeah, we know hockey...Trust me I've seen some of these Candadians around here, and they don't even know the rules...They only want the Refs to call a penalty when a Canadian team is playing...Do Canadians know what is 5 on 5 hockey, or they always have to have an extra man in order to play the game and get some momentum????

wow this thread fell apart fast. reub77, you can say what you want about American fans but without the US the NHL would be in even sorrier shape than it is now. Who would give a crap about the 6 Canadian team league? The revenue from that certainly couldn't support the salaries the players demand.And guys, this five-year-old my team is good and yours sucks is just lame. Also, Jim Hughson has also done EA NHL games, he is not just an announcer for the 'Nucks as was mentioned above.
