The Sharks travel to Calgary tonight to take on the Flames. San Jose will be looking to keep the Flames offense watered down and their defense on their toes. Coach Mike Keenan and the flames are still searching for their first preseason victory and will be matched up against a tough San Jose roster. Nabokov will get the start in goal as will Kiprusoff. This game will be a grinder and will show how tough some of the youngsters really are. This may be a make it or break it outing for some prospects.

San Jose still has some roster trimming to do, and it is getting tougher and tougher trying to round it out. Torrey Mitchell and Devin Setoguchi have been great in the preseason. Both players are working to crack a stacked roster. San Jose has a problem any team would love to have, lots of talented players, and not enough roster spots for them.

Five more players were sent to Worcester, defensemen Derek Joslin, and Tom Walsh, LW Dennis Packard, RW Nate Raduns, and G Taylor Dakers.

My prediction for tonights game......

Sharks 4 Flames 2

Have a good day all, and Go Sharks !

I think there is no doubt that if "Seto" is healthy, he cracks the roster, the more I watch him, the more I am amazed how talented he is with the puck and how savvy he is moving around without the puck. I am interested to see how the defense is rounded out and who the casualty might be there? In my mind Murray has been impressive thus far this pre-season and he has the toughness. We won't get a look at "Ozo" yet as he still needs to ride out the rest of his NHL suspension. Go Sharks!

On hearing all the news that Ozo is in really good shape, conditioning wise. I could see him playing in the AHL for a little bit and then the Sharks bringing him up. I really think Ozo could be a great asset for the Sharks.
