Now based on that title you would think dogs can easily beat a fish, well hold on now. The fish have had the dogs swimming in circles 8 games in a row now, dating back to last season. The fish have protected their nets well and have not allowed the dogs in the net in 3 straight games. Have you ever seen a dog on ice? They can't quite keep up and move so well, but if you let them get to close they will bite you. Now we all know the Sharks are not really fish even though they have flopped on the ice at times this season, and we also know the Coyotes are not dogs even though they seem to be on the underdog side in most games.

San Jose and Phoenix have met 4 times this season and the Sharks have had their number in every game. The acquisition of goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov kept their last meeting with San Jose close and has added some spark to the Yotes who are 4-1 on their current road trip. The Sharks have outscored Phoenix 16-1 this season and Nabokov has posted three straight shutouts against the Coyotes. They will look to build on that streak tonight.

Tonights "Keys to the Game"

*Skate hard! This is the Coyotes last game on a long road trip. They may start with fire but their legs will wear down by the second, weather the storm and play the best second period of the season and there should be no problems.

*Capitalize on mistakes. They will make them, and you must take them, bury the puck if they turn it over.

*Be selfish. Forwards, take the puck to the net and make plays on the rush, it is ok to try to do it yourself once in a while. Forwars without the puck on these plays go to the net as well. Crash and crash, and crash some more.

If the sharks play their game and stop taking games off they should be fine. And note to the sharks players shoot the puck
