Good day and Happy New Year to all. Sorry for the lack of posts lately but it was the holidays and family calls. There are many things on the horizon for the new year, the mid season report I have been working on is nearly done, and although I said I was going to post it on Saturday, I have decided to wait till the mid-season mark. In compiling this report I have found some very interesting tid-bits. So I will be looking forward to getting that up for you very soon.
SharksBuzz is back tonight! There will be plenty to talk about after the long vacation. The Sidney Crosby Bowl yesterday was great, what an amazing day for hockey fans. We will take all your calls on whatever topics you would like to discuss, and hopefully hear from our buddy, gosharks19, who was sitting in section 128 yesterday! The trade deadline is rapidly approaching and the rumors, as far as the Sharks go, have died down, mainly based on the improved play by certain key players. So like I said, anything you want to talk about is welcome.
The Sharks currently sit in the #4 spot in the Western Conference. If all games were played on the road the Sharks would easily be the best team in the league, that just shows the level this team CAN play at, now they just need to start doing the same at home. No one seems to know what is going on at home but, either the staff or players need to figure it out, this team is very near the mark it should be at and if the home record was half as good as the road record, the standings would look much different. The scoring is picking up and the defensemen are chipping in more in that area and the team is benefiting from it like we all had thought. Milan Michalek is starting to turn his game on and I believe he is going to have an amazing second half.
So give us a call tonight or just tune in if you will, it should be a fun show. I am ready to kick off this new year and get the show out there to many more fans. See you tonight !
Thanks for reading and have a great day! GO SHARKS!
