The last time San Jose and Phoenix met the Sharks delivered the knockout blow with a 6-0 manhandling of the Yotes. For Phoenix it was 3 games in a row against San Jose and was just a disaster. San Jose outscored the Coyotes 15-1 in those three games. The series got chippy and Steve Bernier found himself in the thick of it. It all ended with The Coyotes Nick Boynton getting suspended for his attack on Bernier.

San Jose is coming in on their best three game streak of the year. With two wins against Colorado and Wednesday nights victory over Dallas. Joe Thornton has put up 10 points in his last 4 games. The Sharks will look to end the three game road trip with a win and come home for Saturdays game against Buffalo at the Tank on a high note.

My Keys to the Game.......

*Keep your cool! Daniel Carcillo will be looking to do what he does best, getting under peoples skin. Look for Phoenix to go hard against the young guys like Mitchell and Setoguchi.

*Play a full 60! End of the road trip or not, San Jose must keep it going till the last whistle. Sit back and Phoenix will surprise you!

*Shoot the puck! Goals will be harder to come by with Bryzgalov in net. Do not make him look better than he is by holding back. He is a big improvement over the other Phoenix goalies and has had success against the Sharks while he was in Anaheim.

There is a talkcast at 10 am today! Be sure to drop in and say hello. Talkcast ID 74909.

The Sharks should play the tape of the 8-0 loss to Phoenix from last year. If that doesn't get them motivated, then nothing will!
