As the Leafs turn....

Posted 8:09 PM ET | Comments 1
As we sit and await training camp which opens September 13/07, many Leaf fans are wondering some of the same things

Will we make the playoffs this season?
Are the Leafs going to make a trade?
What will the line combinations be this season?
Will a rookie step up in camp and make the team?

These questions are no different then any other year as a die hard Leafs fan has though these same 4 questions for as long as i have known them and been a Leaf fan myself and they do make for great conversations when your out with friends and family whether the are also Leaf fans or fans of another NHL team.

We all enjoy being arm chair GMs and with all the video entertainment systems out there and NHL video games to play we can actually create a team, manage it, set up your lineups and see if you can take the team down the road to Lord Stanley.

Some of the funniest hockey conversations ive had has revolved around these type of game players, when you have people telling you that the Leafs should give Brandon Convery a chance to play because he is there 2nd line center and lead the team in scoring that season on there game system or that they should try Antropov on the point because on the powerplay, he has a booming slapshot and has helped their team to become the #1 powerplay unit in hte league you know that these are just nutty Leaf fans from the heart and would come up with anything they could think of to help this team win, you have to love that.

Which brings me back to the four original questions what will this season unfold for the Leafs

Will we make the playoffs this season?
Are the Leafs going to make a trade?
What will the line combinations be this season?
Will a rookie step up in camp and make the team?

We can all give our opinions and ideas but in the end all of this is unknown until we actually have the answers and isnt that a part of what makes us Leaf fans, hockey fans and any sports fan love their game.

The unknown isn't so bad it gives you hope and it gives you emotion it helps you stand up and cheer your team on that much harder and that much louder which makes the victory all that much sweeter and the bonds and memories that you gain from the sport can last you a lifetime.

See when it comes to literature and the people who write or talk about literature it is very hard to understand them know the real meaning of those words. I can say this because I read from essay writing help uk blog different type of poems and literature writings. Sometimes I don`t understand them so easily in one go.
