I have been sitting at the computer all day waiting for some news on Peca. According to his agent, Peca will reported decide today regarding which team he will be playing on for the 2007-08 season. If the Rangers, who many consider to be the front runner in the Peca sweeps, do not get back to Peca today he will walk away from the Rangers and sign elsewhere.

This comes as relief to the many fans who have had enough of arguing about whether acquiring Peca would be a good move for their team.
UPDATE: IMO, these are Peca's odds of signing with the following teams.
Leafs: 46%
Rangers: 39%
Jackets: 10%
Other: 5%
So far, there has been no word on Peca and where he will be heading. There is less than 10 hours until the deadline and with every second, Peca to the Rangers seems even more unlikely. The Rangers interest in him may prove to be false and faked just to drive up the value of Peca. It should be interesting to see how this works out. The Leafs have become the favorite in my mind and I would like to hear what you think.

I think the same. Besides, I don't think the Rangers really need Peca. They could always trade for a Peca-type player at the trade deadline if need be.
leafs.
I think Peca wants something very specific that the Rangers with their current cap space and roster can't really provide. With his age, Peca wants a team that has a shot at the cup and one that will keep him around for the duration of his career.
I don't think it is a good CBA, when a team can be over the cap until Oct.1, then get itself under the cap, this is a backhanded way of stokpiling players and keeping them off other teams.
the ideal situation is for him to go to buffalo ... but Darcy regier sadly isnt interested....
Dont need or want him
i still dont understand why New York would think of signing him when over the cap
