Saying that Buffalo is choking really undersells how good Ottawa is playing. They have outplayed the Penguins, the Devils and now the Sabres. I think it's much less about how poorly Buffalo is playing and much more about how well Ottawa is playing.

I think it's both. The Sabres were particularly awful tonight, and Kalinin looks like he wouldn't crack a beer league roster. Miller, however, was huge. That said, Ottawa is simply dominating, and Meszaros in particular impressed me tonight. So, of course, did Alfredsson. If I'm Buffalo, Nathan Paetsch takes Kalinin's spot in Game 4.

If the comments are longer than your BLOG it not a BLOG. Go make a post on their forums if you want to incite them. Its not choking when the predictions are 50/50 for either team to win. The series though, I will agree is not as close as expected.

Hate Buffalo all you like but when Philly's choking situation began in, oh, OCTOBER, it's nothing to be proud about. Whiel Buffalo has nto brought their A game full marks have to be given to a stellar and underrated Ottawa team. They've earned huge accolades with their play this post-season.
