Nitty in Goal.

Early Thoughts:
1. Want to know how bad things are for the Flyers, a player claimed off waivers is skating on left wing with their top line and wearing the #25 of Keith Primeau.
2. They have finally created the pair of Coburn and Timonen as the top defensive pair.
3. The Powerplay has slowed down the pace that they had established is that the players are not drawing penalties. They have become easy to play against. No taking pucks to traffic areas, they play around the outside of the offensive zone. No passes thru the slot and no slot presence.

No passion in the game. Briere, Smith, Upshall, Knuble, Richards, and Hartnell need to pick up the passion and get the crowd going. These are your energy guys. Timonen, Carter, Kapenen, etc. are not the types to get rowdy.

End of a very boring 1st Period with no score.

2nd Period
Richards line just had good pressure to draw a penalty by playing in the slot. Let's see if the Powerplay can get some life in the building. Briere takes the puck to the front of the net and creates a great scoring attempt.

Powerplay goal late in the 2nd Period. Briere picks up the puck behind the net and took it in front strong to score a goal. 1-0 Flyers.

End of 2nd Period - 1-0 Flyers.

3rd Period
Lots of flipping the puck out by Philly. Upshall with a huge stupid 4 minute penalty. I cannot think of another player that gets more stick fouls than Scott. Upshall with a huge hit.

Late goal by Florida with 3.7 seconds left.

OT
Let's hope we score before the shootout, because we are a horrible shootout team and not much better 4 on 4. These rules really do not favor the Philly personnel.

After watching a few games of Ryan Parent, this guy is a keeper. He should not leave the NHL or Flyers lineup no matter who comes back from injury. His 1 on 1 defense is amazing.

Goal by Florida. Game over.
