I always thought that home town team announcers were allowed to be one sided? Fox Sports Net PITTSBURGH, right? That aside...Errey is usually pretty fair with the color commentary...Paul Steigerwald is a homer though.

yeah be one sided all you want.. but to say a player getting hurt is good? that is classless... people talk about philly being classless... you will never hear a announcer say .. sweet that guy got hurt he deserves it

I agree with you completely! They were horrible! The most biased announcing I have ever seen. Saying that they hate Hartnell is garbage. These guys should not be allowed to do another game, but we know that won't happen.

Errey is the best color guy in hockey and is always very complimentary of other teams players. Hartnell is just a stupid animal and everyone knows it except Flyers fans. Since when are Philly fans of any sport concerned about class to begin with? You have a jail in your NFL stadium for goodness sakes and your fans pelted Santa Claus with ice balls.

its fsn pittsburgh, the broadcast is going to be one sided. if you live in the pittsburgh region you are going to get a pittsburgh spin on everything you listen to, thats just the way it is. for you to expect anything other than that would be rediculous...if i were to listen to the eagles and steelers on 94.1 wysp in philly and expect merril reese to be unbiased with his call of the game would be unrealistic and unfair...i accept the call of the game for what it is...thats what i would expect living in philly...that being said, like always...the flyers faithful leave out the whole story. following that incident where hartnell was hit with the puck, both Steigerwald and Errey said, and i am not able to quote cause i do not remember exactlly what was said...mainly cause im not a whiner or care about this sort of thing..."hartnell is a great guy off the ice, and he is also the kind of player everyone wants on their team...all the fans of the other teams hate him but he is doing his job if they do...etc..."keep crying flyers fans, its what makes you stand out from the others. it also is why you love to embrace that "broad street bullies" style of play, cause your all cheap punks in your everyday lives...just like your flyers...

just a stupid animal? you realize only 2 people on the pens have more points... and they are 2 of the leagues best... doesn't matter who the guy it... never be happy someone is hurt... especially a puck in the face which can be career ending, and who cares if he wasnt hurt bad...still the wrong thing to do

Outside of maybe NJ ever team has biased annoucers.....have you ever honestly listened to a Flyers broadcast? This is coming from a Flyers fan.
