Marty...Marty...Marty...Marty. Biron outplayed Price tonight. One guy looked a little timid and one guy was dominate. I don't really want to hear any more about Biron not being a number 1 goalie. He has proven that he is one. Umberger, Carter, and Upshall dominated the play when on ice tonight. They were all over the place with offensive pressure and great defensive coverage.
The pair of Timmonen and Coburn has caused the Habs to switch their lines up in an effort to get Kovalev or Koivu away from the pair. If I were the Flyers I would be ready to split the pair to match 1 versus each line. I would put Kuukonen with Timonen and Coburn with Hatcher. Briere was great again. Hartnell on that line really creates space and provides alot of protection for Briere and Prospal. I love his mean streak.
Well the Habs are fortunate to be 1-1 in the series. The Flyers should have won both games. This team is playing as a group, supporting each other with the puck, and getting goaltending.
I can't wait until game 3 to hear the Wachovia Center go nuts.
I wouldnt get too cocky if I were you. Biron has been the difference so far, but he can't keep this up all series. Montreal will win Game 3.
Millertime...I wouldn't get too cocky it I were you.Why won't you give credit when credit is due. Most of the time you have good stuff to say but lately you have trolled with your comments. Biron has made the difference. Will Carey Price be able to keep it up as well? Your hate for a team shows through faster then your love of the sport.
millertime...price does not look good. Biron does. Are you telling me Price is finally going to be able to get the top shelf shot next game...i doubt it but I guess we'll see. I think your hate of the Flyers is starting to cloud your hockey intellegence. Settle down...there's always next season for your boys.
millertime is just frustrated that his Sabres are cheap, and let players like Drury, Gomez, Campbell, and Briere go. All of which are thriving in the playoffs. By the way did anyone notice the uncalled high-stick on Kukkonen on the Koivu goal?
Has anyone noticed how eerily similar this round is to the first round with the Caps? In both series the Flyers have been 1-1 after 2 games when they basically should have won both games. Just throwing it out there.
Millertime, I was not being cocky or bragging. I was mearly stating that Biron has played great in the playoffs and proven that the faith the Flyers showed in trading for him was justified.
