The home stand for Columbus continues as the Blue Jackets battle the Boston Bruins. The B's have been red hot as of late. Watching the game on Valentine's Day between them and the Detroit Red Wings (who the Jackets play next week) was a game to watch for sure, with 11 goals scored in the game.
These teams played on January 23, 2016 and Boston won 3-2 in a shootout.
Boston got goals from David Pastrnak (my player to watch) and Brad Marhand in regulation. In the shootout, Boston got goals from Ryan Spooner and Torey Krug. Other players with points in 60 minutes include Spooner, David Krejci, Patrice Bergeron, and Loui Eriksson. Jonas Gustvasson had 31 saves on 33 shots against in 65 minutes for a 0.939 save percentage (93.9%).
Columbus got goals from Kerby Rychel and Dalton Prout in 60 minutes. In the shootout, nobody was able to beat "the Monster". Other players with points were William Karlsson and Justin Falk. Joonas Korpisalo had 32 saves on 34 shots against for a 0.941 save percentage (94.1%).
The Bruins have been riding the goal streak of Brad Marchand, who has 13 goals in his last 13 games. They sit behind the Wings in a playoff spot (3rd in Atlantic Division).
For Columbus, they get healthier with Curtis McElhinney back after suffering an ankle injury back in early January. For Boston, Patrice Bergeron is a game time decision.

Players to Watch
Columbus: Brandon Dubinsky. When you need a guy to battle big stars, Dubi is the guy, and there are plenty on Boston.
Boston: Tukka. A great goalie is what you need in this league, and the B's have one.
Enjoy the games tonight. More to come…
