The Columbus Blue Jackets pulled off a major comeback upset victory over the Philadelphia Flyers in extra time. The final score of the game was 3-2 in a shootout.
Philadelphia had control of the game for most of the time, and scored two in the first 51 minutes of the game. In the third period, Ryan White scored his 10th of the season (11:54); Schenn and Sean Couturier had the assists.
The Flyers broke down in the final two minutes of the game, allowing Columbus to comeback and tie it to send the game to overtime. In the overtime, Shayne Gostibhere had one of the best defensive plays I have ever seen, by diving across the blue line to keep the puck in the offensive end.
In the shootout, the Flyers used Nick Cousins, Claude Giroux, Sam Gagner, Sean Couturier, and Brayden Schenn against Sergei Bobrovsky, with no results.
Steve Mason allowed 2 goals on 53 shots for a 0.962 save percentage (96.2%). In the shootout, he stopped 4 of 5 shots for an 0.800 save percentage (80%).

Boone Jenner deflected a puck down and past Steve Mason for his 26th goal of the season (18:56) ; Seth Jones and Brandon Saad had the assists. With 8 seconds (19:52), Cam Atkinson rebounded the puck in past Mason's glove for his 26th goal of the season.
In the shootout, Columbus used Cam Atkinson, Alex Wennberg, Brandon Dubinsky, Oliver Bjorkstrand, and Boone Jenner. Jenner was the only player to get the puck past a goalie in the shootout.
Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 31 of 33 shots for a 0.939 save percentage (93.9%). In the shootout, he was 5 for 5 (100%).
