In the late stages of Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Kings, Sergei Bobrovsky sustained an apparent lower-body injury. According to Torts, he is "day to day". The Jackets recalled Joonas Korpisalo from the Lake Erie Monsters. He apparently ranks 7th in save percentage at 0.913 save percentage. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a game in this week during Bobrovsky's absence. Go Korps and best of luck Bobs.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Jackets announced that David Clarkson was activated off the injured-reserve. Clarkson has missed lots of time because of injuries since his arrival in Columbus. In 11 games played in a Jacket sweater, he has two assists. Hopefully he can find his former 30 goal ways and produce for Columbus.

Further evaluations show that Sergei Bobrovsky has a lower body injury. It seems to be either a knee or a groin injury, which is not got as Bobs has dealt with this issue twice in the past two seasons. Hopefully, he can get back in the lineup soon to help this team. As of now, the Jackets are going with McElhinney and Korpisalo.
Until more comes through the wire. More to come...
