Earlier this month, the Blue Jackets have witnessed the returns of David Clarkson and Jared Boll. These two provide secondary scoring and grit that this team needs.
To the injured reserve are Jack Johnson and Brandon Saad, two of the club's most important players. Johnson is a two way defenseman that will soon be the "veteran" on this team once they find a taker for Fedor Tyutin. Saad is one of the team's loading goal and point scorers, who will probably this way for the rest of his career. He is a talented guy in every way and can really help this team when they make the playoffs, which is hopefully soon.
On Wednesday, the Blue Jackets have activated Sergei Bobrovsky off the injured reserve, and will play on Friday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Bobs has had a rough year with a loss of confidence to multiple groin injuries. With him back, Joonas Korpisalo will be sent to Lake Erie to improve his development.
