The Columbus Blue Jackets continue their bye-week by not playing and relaxing, and watching the teams that are playing climb up the standings. The New York Rangers have now officially surpassed the Blue Jackets, placing them in the first place Wild Card spot. However, the Blue Jackets have two games in hand, and are only just one point behind. However, stats have shown lately that teams that come off bye-weeks lose their first games back. Also, right after the Jackets come back, they play the Rangers. It’ll be a fun time to keep up with the Jackets.
After missing some time with personal events, I will dive back into the game coverage that I have missed.

Rumors
The rumor front is very quiet for the Blue Jackets. Not many sites or I have been able to dig up much in regards to Jackets rumors. It seems to be more quiet talk and who could makes sense. Some talk has pointed to Patrick Eaves, but not really much more.
More to come…

Might as well discount the rumor section now as Eaves has already been traded. This was written before the trade.
